Bronx Narratives is an online and physical publication that provides a fresh view on our community. The Bronx is a place that is often associated with negative stereotypes, so we've created a platform for our readers to help understand the lifestyle of the Bronx. Created and run by Bronxites. We invite you to experience our borough through our eyes.

All donations will help fund events, workshops and ideas that are community-inclusive. Whatever you can give helps.

DONDRE GREEN / CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER & CREATIVE DIRECTOR

I've made it my duty to help people see my borough the way I've grown to learn and appreciate it. I believe in the idea of fostering community, learning from different voices and cultivating something bigger than myself. There's so many stories to tell here in our borough and I'm fully committed to sharing them.

DECOTA LETMAN / DIRECTOR OF STRATEGIC PARTNERSHIPS AND OUTREACHAs a Bronx Native and food/wine enthusiast, I spend my free time trying to find new places to eat and meet new people. My new found love of the Bronx has pushed me to experience different cultures in and around the community. As a PR specialist, visionary, writer, event coordinator, and woman, I plan to use my gifts to show others our borough has more to offer than what meets the eye.

HOAY SMITH / OPERATIONS & ART DIRECTOR

I find myself becoming more intrigued by design and function and how to mesh that with beauty and minimalism. When illustrating or curating a project, I have to focus on aesthetics. Being born and raised in the Bronx gives me a better sense of direction on how I can communicate these ideas throughout my borough.

KAYLA SMITH / PODCAST PRODUCER & ILLUSTRATORI'm a Wakefield native, an outgoing introvert who loves performing poetry, dancing, rich conversations packed with humor and repartee, a good book and her dictionary app. I enjoy discussions about God,…

KAYLA SMITH / MARKETING & COMMUNICATIONS DIRECTOR

I’ve always been into thinking and writing about things using rhyme schemes and other forms of literary devices. I’m out here trying to love God and people the best way possible. Current motto: don’t show em you’re weird until they’re in too deep. Secret superpower: My father taught me how to play “too much” but somehow it’s always just enough.

TIFFANY GREEN / WRITER + PODCAST CO-HOSTMy love for the borough comes from my father, (who was raised in the South Bronx) along with a passion for shedding light on communities, cultures, and people who have been overshadowed by stereotypes or unrepresented. I am a Queens-born, HBCU bred, event manager, experiential designer, writer, foodie, and fashion enthusiast whose motivation consists of good vibes, better people, and greater art.

TIFFANY GREEN-WILLIAMS / EVENTS & OUTREACH CO-DIRECTOR

My love for the borough is inherited from my South Bronx-raised father. Born in Queens and honed at NSU, I'm not your average event manager—I'm an experiential designer, wordsmith, and style curator on a mission to rewrite the narrative of communities often overlooked, overshadowed, or underrepresented.
